Candidates now are now assessing employers in all aspects of life, they want more from their employers. The interview process is a two way street. Candidates want to know:
Company’s ethos – what are your overall values, setting the tone for how you operate? Colleagues – what are the people like that they will be working with? Management – what are your management styles? Will they feel supported? Can you work together? Progression – is there a clear plan for the role going forward, where do you see them in 3 years time? Overall happiness – people are no longer willing to put up with not being happy at work, ‘life is too short!’
